Product Photography with Your Smartphone: Pro Results on Zero Budget
You don't need a DSLR. Here's how to take stunning product photos using just your phone.

Great product photos can increase sales by 40%. The good news? Your smartphone is enough.
1. Lighting is Everything
Shoot near a window during golden hour (1 hour after sunrise, 1 hour before sunset). Avoid direct sunlight — use a white curtain as a diffuser.
2. Use a Clean Background
White poster board, wooden table, or marble surface. Keep it simple so the product stands out.
3. Shoot from Multiple Angles
Front, back, side, detail shots, and lifestyle shots (product in use). Minimum 5 images per product.
4. Edit with Free Apps
Snapseed, Lightroom Mobile, and VSCO are free and powerful. Adjust brightness, contrast, and sharpness.
